Maggie's Edinburgh: Building Exterior At Night

“We have good doctors...but Maggie's is the jewel in the crown of what we do here”

Mike Dixon, Surgeon, Western General Hospital

Welcome to Maggie's Edinburgh

Maggie's Edinburgh is located at Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.

Maggie's is first and foremost a homely, relaxing place for you to be in. We are open all day Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and some evenings, so drop in at any time if you want to have a cup of tea and a chat, if you want to learn more about your cancer, or if you just want a quiet somewhere to sit down.

You do not need a referral and anyone affected by cancer is welcome. So please do call in when it's convenient for you. Maggie's Centres is a charitably funded organisation and all our services are free to you.

Maggie's Edinburgh was the first Maggie's Centre and opened in 1996.

Angie MacDonald is working in collaboration with Maggie's on a research project looking at the role of the gardens at Maggie's. The project forms a part of Angie's PhD at University College Falmouth.
